Created in the late 18th century at the initiative of María Josefa Pimentel, Duchess of Osuna, El Capricho brings nature, architecture and sculpture together in a carefully composed landscape.
The order of the French garden, the intimacy of the Italian garden and the winding paths of an English landscape share the same grounds. Beauty reveals itself slowly: around a bend, among the trees, across the water.

ABOUT THE PROJECT
To find the places
worth discovering.
This project began with a personal experience: visiting the garden and not always knowing how to reach the next place.
Information panels help, but bends and trees can make the overall layout hard to picture. That inspired a simple idea: raise the viewpoint to understand the garden before exploring it on foot.
The virtual experience helps you recognise its landmarks, sparks curiosity and prepares you to enjoy a visit in person.
